Objective & controls
Use Arrow keys, WASD or the four on-screen direction controls to change gravity. The core rolls in that direction until a wall stops it. Reach the portal without touching red hazards. Yellow switches open striped gates on advanced levels.
How scoring works
Clearing a level awards points based on level difficulty and gravity-shift efficiency. Finishing at or below the displayed Par earns the strongest bonus. Higher verified total score wins; fewer shifts act as a leaderboard tie-breaker.
Strategy
Study the whole maze before the first shift. Work backwards from the portal, identify the wall that must stop the core on its final approach, and preserve efficient routes. On switch levels, plan both the route to the switch and the post-gate route before committing.
How difficulty grows
Gravity Shift contains 100 distinct levels. Every board is solver-validated before release, and Par is the shortest valid solution length. The level bank is also checked for duplicate layouts including rotations and mirror equivalents. Difficulty progresses from basic wall-stopping to longer routes, hazards, switches and gates, culminating at Level 100
Improving at Gravity Shift
The useful way to improve is to understand what the game is measuring. In Gravity Shift, the important pressure comes from Gravity Shift contains 100 distinct levels. Every board is solver-validated before release, and Par is the shortest valid solution length. The level bank is also checked for duplicate layouts including rotations and mirror equivalents. Difficulty progresses from basic wall-stopping to longer routes, hazards, switches and gates, culminating at Level 100. That means repeat runs are not only attempts at a better number: they are opportunities to recognize the decisions that create that number. Use the strategy above as a starting point, then compare your own runs and identify where time, accuracy, moves or survival are being lost.
Small Games keeps the rules visible because a leaderboard is only useful when players understand what is being compared. Read how scoring and verified results work, browse the complete Game Guides, or learn how Small Games is designed.
