Games first, platform second
Each title is built around a distinct interaction: clearing a field, reading a network, remembering a sequence, surviving traffic, timing an orbital transfer or controlling a variable jump. We do not try to make every title behave identically. Shared platform features—accounts, leaderboards, Daily Challenges and sharing—sit around the individual game rather than replacing its identity.
Instant browser play
Games are delivered through the browser so a visitor can move from discovery to play without installing a separate application. Most titles allow guest play. An account becomes useful when a player wants eligible results, personal records and competition history associated with a profile.
Fair difficulty
Difficulty should increase the skill requirement, not create arbitrary failure. Depending on the game that can mean faster timing, denser logic, longer memory sequences, reduced reaction margin or more complex spatial dependencies. Procedural systems are constrained so generated states remain playable where the rules require a solution.
Daily and weekly competition
The Daily Challenge gives players an official shared challenge for the day. Weekly League features can aggregate participation across the week. These systems are intended to create a reason to return without interrupting the underlying games.
Sharing
Game and result sharing is designed to carry the identity of the game being shared. Challenge links can preserve a target result where supported, while campaign attribution helps us understand which sharing surfaces bring players back to Small Games.
