SMALL GAMES
SCORING & LEADERBOARDS

Different games.
Different ways to win.

Small Games does not force every title into one scoring formula. A fast puzzle, an endless survival game and a level-based logic game measure skill differently.

What a score means

Each game defines its own primary result. In a time-attack title, a lower completion time may be stronger. In survival and arcade games, a higher score or longer run may win. Level-based games can prioritize progression before using score or efficiency to separate comparable results. The individual game guide explains the relevant rule.

Personal bests

A personal best is the strongest eligible result associated with a player for the relevant game or mode. Some games have multiple modes because changing board size, brush size or another fundamental rule would make direct comparison misleading.

Verified results

Where competitive saving is supported, Small Games records eligible completed runs through the game's result pipeline. Server-side checks vary by title and can include run tokens, elapsed-time checks, expected score ranges or game-specific state. These checks are intended to make public rankings more meaningful; they are not a guarantee against every possible form of manipulation.

Guests and accounts

Guest play remains available across much of the catalogue. Some games can preserve a recently completed verified guest run long enough for the player to sign in and claim it. Signed-in play makes it easier to maintain personal records and leaderboard identity across sessions.

Challenges

Result sharing can create a challenge link tied to a recent verified result where supported. The recipient sees the game and target before choosing to accept. Challenge links are invitations to play, not automatic game starts.

Daily Challenge and Weekly League

Daily and weekly competition are separate layers. A Daily Challenge may use a particular game's ruleset or deterministic board so players can compare performance on the same challenge. Weekly standings can reward consistent participation across multiple days.

Game-specific rules always win.
