How to play Offline Hop

Offline Hop is an endless variable-jump runner designed to keep working even when Small Games loses its network connection. Play instantly in your browser—no download is required.

Objective & controls

Quick tap, click or key press for a short jump. Hold touch/click, Space or Up Arrow for a higher and longer jump. Avoid every block and survive as speed increases.

How scoring works

Score increases with survival time. The best Offline Hop score is stored locally on the device because offline runs cannot be server-verified.

Strategy

Use short jumps for tightly spaced obstacles and reserve long held jumps for taller blocks or wider gaps. Pressing jump just before landing is buffered so the next jump fires on the landing frame.

How difficulty grows

Speed increases gradually while obstacle spacing is constrained to avoid deliberately impossible pairs

Improving at Offline Hop

The useful way to improve is to understand what the game is measuring. In Offline Hop, the important pressure comes from Speed increases gradually while obstacle spacing is constrained to avoid deliberately impossible pairs. That means repeat runs are not only attempts at a better number: they are opportunities to recognize the decisions that create that number. Use the strategy above as a starting point, then compare your own runs and identify where time, accuracy, moves or survival are being lost.

Small Games keeps the rules visible because a leaderboard is only useful when players understand what is being compared. Read how scoring and verified results work, browse the complete Game Guides, or learn how Small Games is designed.
